What is included in a studio portrait session?

Studio sessions are 60 minutes of creativity, laughter, and a whole lot of fun. Good music is a must, and yes, snacks are available!


Multiple outfit changes and background options are planned during the Curate phase, so we already have a game plan before you step in front of the camera.


Once we start shooting, settle in and enjoy yourself. I’ll guide you through posing, expressions, and every little detail along the way so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands.

What should I wear or bring to my session?

Studio sessions are a great place to experiment! Go high fashion, bring fun and hip outfits that show off your style, or keep it classic and traditional.


And don't forget the things that tell your story. Bring a prized keepsake, a favorite book, a childhood stuffed animal, or that souvenir from a trip you'll never forget. A lot of our Seniors bring their Bible, a special memento, or something they've had since they were little.


Sometimes the things that mean the most make the best portraits.

What if I'm awkward?

Welcome to the club. 😂 Most people aren't models, and that's exactly why I'm there. I'll guide you through the entire process so you don't have to figure out how to stand, where to look, or what to do with your hands.

How should we prepare for our session?

Try on and buy outfits at least 2-3 weeks in advance. Get hair cuts a week in advance. Iron all clothes the day before. Don't plan any other activities before the session. Relax, we got the posing and wear to stand, and place your hands.


A few "Don't Do These" tips.


NO TANNING, self-tanning, spray tanning, or any type of tanning products for 1 week before the session.


NO TATTOOS, piercings, or body modifications 2 weeks before the session. Trust us on this one.

How long does a session last?

All sessions are 60 minutes.

When is the best time to schedule a session?

Studio sessions happen year round!

What products and artwork do you offer?

  • Framed Master Heirlooms: these are digitally hand painted, printed on canvas, then hand embellished with oils/acrylics to highlight the portrait giving it a old-master look.
  • Framed Traditional canvas prints
  • Framed HD Metal prints that are as glossy as car paint
  • Framed Fine Art prints on rag paper that is luxuriously soft
  • Sizes range from 50X60 to 16X20
